Christopher Annis, MD, anesthesiologist and pain management physician, of the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center of Northern Indiana, Inc. (OSMC,) has joined the board of directors of Elkhart General Hospital, Beacon Health System.
As an Elkhart General Hospital trustee, Dr. Annis participates in board’s oversight of the hospital’s quality of care, business operations and the sustainability of the organization, while also supporting efforts to make the best use of the facility’s resources.
At OSMC, Dr. Annis is a specialist in providing conservative therapy and pain management care for back, spine, neck and other chronic conditions. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and the Indiana Society of Anesthesiologists. He is board certified in anesthesiology as well as pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Annis is a frequent presenter and lecturer at medical conferences focused on advanced pain management and anesthesiology techniques and has contributed to several research projects, journal articles, and texts.
