  • My knees are completely shot, and I know surgery will eventually be unavoidable. Until then, Dr Hix and the OSMC staff keep me going with knee injections, and I truly appreciate their care and attention. I would not be able to walk without their continued help!  -ST

  • Review update, five years since surgery and my back is still perfect!!!  — 5 years ago: Had a great experience here, Dr Caldwell did an excellent job on my back surgery this January, 8 months later I feel completely healed after a full year in pain. He was great to work with, did a great job, processed all insurance paperwork and got everything approved for me when SBO could not even get an MRI approved due to there terrible paperwork handling. My only wish is that I came to OSMC first and got the help I needed right away from a great doctor like Dr. Caldwell. -DK

  • I made an appointment to see Dr. Pagano about my heel pain. She gave me options and we made a decision. My pain is already 90% better and it’s been less than 24 hours. She takes great care of my feet! -BA
  • I have just come through my 3rd surgery with OSMC. They all have had a great outcome and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. This last one was a total knee replacement performed on 10/18.   • The office staff at Middlebury was wonderful as always. Dr. Henning was extremely gracious and helpful. He explained it everything so well, and together we opted for an injection in my right heel. Today is the first day I have been almost pain-free in one year. I am so very grateful!!! -RJ

  • Dr. Hix is very thoughtful and kind. He is regularly on time and I was impressed that he came out today and called my name. I don’t recall any other doctor humbling themselves enough to do that. Normally, they have a different office staff member come and get their patients. I was impressed!!! There are many doctors that I am impressed with at OSMC. -OR
  • Dr. Cullen is a super.doctor. I have had good experiences. She’s knowledgeable and upfront with her diagnosis. Never seems in a rush, speaks in a way I can understand! I feel very comfortable at her office. -CL

  • Dr. King is an awesome Surgeon and really good guy. He told me how my surgery would go and that’s exactly how it went. Today is day 12 with my new hip. I’m slowly starting to get around without any of the pain that was ruining my life. I have the typical Surgery pains which are nothing like destroyed hip pain.   • I was greeted very graciously, even though I was 4 minutes late for my appointment. I was promptly escorted to my room and had my info updated very nicely by my medical assistant, Danielle. Dr. Smucker was amazing. He left no stone unturned in his explanation of my diagnosis, prognosis, and future expectations. He displayed exactly what it takes to keep healthcare in the U.S. the best on the planet.  -SB

  • I visited the OSMC Walk-In clinic on October 9th. I was seen by Dr. Hix for pain in my right knee. Dr. Hix gave me an injection in my knee and today, the 10th of October, I have no knee pain! Thanks, Dr. Hix!

  • Minimal wait! Staff was friendly & efficient. Dr. Hix asked questions & listened to my concerns. He presented options and gave me some relief from my knee pain 👍🏽 – set up some PT and will see me again in 6 weeks.

  • I never enjoy going to a physician especially during these Chaotic times. However, I made my appointment online which save a lot of time so checking in was easy. Dr.Cutcliffe and his nurses were pleasant and efficient. Dr. Cutcliffe made my experience almost fun 🙂 Thank you for caring. -MW

  • Dr. Cullen appears to be very knowledgeable and up to date on what is available for addressing arthritis and joint pain/damage. She is businesslike but personable, and offers good explanations of symptoms, and suggestions for managing and reducing problems related to joint damage, beginning with joint therapy and strengthening of associated muscles, movement and stretching, and the whole body approach of exercise and great Whole Foods nutrition. I have had great success and reduced pain by following this approach. -GJ

  • I was a patient of Dr. Grove’s. Probably my most favorite Dr. ever! When he retired he knew Dr. Annis would be a good fit for me. Had my 1st appt with him this morning. Our visit went so well! I’m so impressed with the amount of time he spent with me and how thorough he was. I’m going to really like him! He was running late, and apologized 2x. I don’t care if he’s late, because I know when he’s with me he won’t rush through the appointment! Good doctors today are hard to find. I hit the jackpot with Dr. Annis! -RY
  • I  would give OSMC Nappanee  5 stars because they superseded my expectations. Not only was the office staff hospitable and welcoming, but they answered any and all questions that I had. Dr. Cutcliffe was thorough in his assessment of my hand and treated me with respect. I was also seen within the first five minutes of my arrival. -RA

  • I walked out of my appointment with Dr. Cutcliffe so satisfied! Rarely do I leave a doctors office feeling wowed. Dr Cuticliffe was completely engaged in our conversation. He wasn’t writing anything down or typing on the computer while I was speaking. His chair was facing me, he was leaning forward as though he wanted and was interested in what I was saying. It was so refreshing, this is how you should feel every time you leave an appointment! Not to mention, my carpal tunnel surgery scar looks amazing! 🤩  -YK

  • Had my 2nd consultation w/Dr Sonntag about my total shoulder replacement. He has been very thorough, concerned, kind and friendly. He has given me reason to be confident he will be a good Dr for me, and I look forward to feeling and using my shoulder better! I will update after!  -MT
  • Dr. Pope did carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand in 2019 that had severe nerve damage up my two middle fingers. Today is perfect. He also did carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand and trigger finger surgery on my right thumb December 29th of 2022 and it feels so much better he those are wonderful job.   • At OSMC I have received great service and professionalism. I have got many complications with spine. Other agencies (we will say ,without names) just say surgery and retirement. These people want to help you the best way possible first. -JT
  • Dr. Cullen is great. My husband’s symptoms were confusing to us, but she honed right in on the problem, made a logical diagnosis, and prescribed a less invasive remedy than we had feared. She’s been right on several previous occasions, giving him long-term relief. We’re looking forward to getting him treated this time as well. -TW
  • Dr. Ben Smucker was wonderful! He was very kind and attentive to my husbands needs. He was able to speak Spanish to help understand what was happening and what the plan was to better treat my husband. Strongly would recommend him for any of your/your family members orthopedic needs without hesitation! -SP
  • I’ve NEVER been to a medical facility that was so organized. All of my surgery post appointments were scheduled that FIRST appt & the same day. They gave me a sheet called an “Appointment Sheet for Total Joint Replacement” I don’t have to call & worry abt when I can get in, etc. I consider this as top notch scheduling & thank you OSMC. -RS
  • Dr. Henning is a great physician. He is always very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly Dr. Henning for anyone who is in need of a Podiatrist. He’s the best. -LP
  • This is my third surgery with OSMC, both hips and this time my knee. Anyone I meet or know that talks about joint surgery I highly recommended OSMC. Dr Erekson is very good at what he does, as well as all the other doctors there. I can’t say how much I appreciate his dedication to perfecting his work…this coming spring I’ll b able to kayak, walk my dog, ride my bike, swim and go for walks ( without falling down!). Thank you OSMC and Doctor Erekson! -DS
  • I found Dr. Schultz to be very honest with his diagnosis and thorough in explaining my options. I just had my knee surgery (meniscus tear and patellar chronoplasty) on Friday and have healed wonderfully thus far (posted this on Monday afternoon). No major bruising or soreness, which I believe is attributed to him being gentle with my leg and joint during surgery. I am very pleased with the results, I look forward to a speedy recovery, and am glad to be under his medical care.

  • Everyone was happy and courteous. They where very busy this morning,. Yet I didnt see anyone finish the 10 question form they gave you, including me. I taken to my room where the staff confirmed my paperwork and what I there for. Dr. Stevenson entered the room shortly afterwards. We discussed what was going on with my knee. (Old age). We discussed my options or lack of. Got a cortisone shot and out the door. Great experience with a Dr and staff with great bedside manners. Thanks again. -LB
  • Dr. Schramm has been and done several procedures on my hands and elbow and he did an awesome job! I recovered and healed quickly and if I had any questions or concerns, Dr. Schramm always addressed them with me. Not only is he a fabulous Orthopedic surgeon, he is very kind, compassionate and caring. -JKN
  • I saw Dr Hix today for left hip pain. I love how I can call and get an appointment within a day or 2 to see him. I have seen him multiple times over the years for neck pain and other orthopedic issues. I have also sent my husband to him and all of my 4 kids have seen him for an injury or 2 over the past many years. He always listens and gets right to a treatment option. The new office is clean and they were right on time for my appointment. Thanks for great service Dr Hix and OSMC! -RT
  • I had a total knee replacement and OSMC was great from my first appointment to my last! Kind, friendly and professional providers and staff. I know they see tons of total knee patients and I always felt my questions were answered well (even though I knew they probably answer the same questions over and over and over). I would like to give a shout out to Leigh in PT. She pushed me to really get the best outcome for my knee. Without her I’m not sure I would have achieved as well. I also enjoyed out chats while we did my therapy. 🙂 Also a shout out to Julie, nurse practitioner.

  • I love everything about this place! I was nervous at first about choosing OSMC over SBO but am so glad I did. I have been a patient for about 4 years now. The entire team is so wonderful! Friendly compassionate and caring. They all make you feel so comfortable and important. I saved the best for last …Dr. Jason Hix is fantastic! Thorough, honest, caring and just plain WONDERFUL. I think he should change his name to DR.WONDERFUL! Dr Stevenson is also fantastic! Top notch surgeon and the best in the business with rotator cuff surgery! Thank you OSMC Elkhart I am FOREVER Grateful AND will FOREVER SING YOUR PRAISES & be a patient forever! Why go anywhere else when you have the BEST ❤️  -RS
  • Compassionate, educated, professionals from the moment you are greeted by the receptionist, working with the nurses, being examined by the Doctor and finally checking out! The most updated techniques are used to address your condition. I highly recommend them! I just completed my follow up appointment and my right wrist and hand are improving daily! Dr. Cutcliffe is a “wizard”! I would recommend this fine surgeon and the OSMC facility to everyone seeking professional excellence in their medical care!  -TD
