She was awarded the Company Grade Officer of the Quarter three times. She also provided medical care for “hurricane hunters" and members of other air squadrons.
After leaving the USAF, Dr. Cullen returned to Texas to complete her family medicine residency in 2012 at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler, Texas. Patient Testimonials:
- "Saw Dr Cullen today for a back injury. Dr Cullen listens well and then examines thoroughly. Fortunately it is a back strain and not a disc issue. She gave me instructions on how to proceed with daily activity and rest in this case plus stretches to start with. She emphasized for me to call back if I do not get better. I would recommend Dr Cullen to anyone."
- "Dr. Cullen has been so thorough, helpful and encouraging. The rest of the staff have been great, too, and all have been happy to answer my questions."
- "Dr. Cullen was great! Very honest and very kind and caring. I broke my foot and she was so helpful and understanding. I went back for a recheck and unfortunately the break had gotten worse, but Dr. Cullen referred me to a specialist who she assured me would take good care of me and would be very honest if surgery was needed. I highly recommend OSMC Health and Aquatics center. The entire staff was very friendly and made my experience very good."
