Nurse practitioner Deb Maiden joined OSMC in 2011.
Deb received her diploma in nursing from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1984, then worked as an RN at Elkhart General Hospital for the next 26 years. In the interim, she continually sought to increase her knowledge and healthcare skills.
She obtained a bachelor of science in nursing from Indiana University in South Bend in 2006 – and then went on to earn a master of science in nursing from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, in 2011. It was while she was at BSU that she received her certification as a family practice nurse practitioner.
Deb is a member of many professional organizations, such as the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN), and the Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses of Indiana (CAPNI).
