ELKHART, INDIANA— The Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center of Northern Indiana, Inc. (OSMC) is pleased to announce Dr. James R. Jastifer has joined the organization.
Dr. Jastifer is focused on foot and ankle sports medicine, reconstruction, replacement and lower extremity fractures.
Dr. Jastifer joins OSMC with vast experience. Most recently he practiced at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, where he was Chief of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and a surgeon.
Board-certified, Dr. Jastifer earned his undergraduate biomedical engineering degree from Michigan Technological University, and medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. His orthopedic surgery residency was at Western Michigan University School of Medicine and Michigan State University Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. His foot and ankle surgical fellowship took place at Saint Alphonsus Foot and Ankle Clinic in Boise, Idaho.
