OSMC is introducing a new system that will allow you to complete your appointment check-in, paperwork, and health questionnaires on your own device from wherever is most convenient for you. You spend less time in the waiting room and more time getting the care you need.
You’ll find that Phreesia:
- Is quick, easy, flexible, and convenient.
- Reminds you of your appointment by sending you a personalized message to your digital device (including any smartphone, computer or tablet.)
- Allows you to complete your pre-visit registration from your own device ahead of your appointment, privately and securely.
- Offers registration in Spanish and 19 other languages.
- Is simple! There's not an ‘app’ to download and there are no passwords to remember.

Questions & Answers about OSMC's Phreesia Check-In
Phreesia is a mobile check-in system that allows you to pre-register and check in for your appointment from home at your convenience. It also enables you to complete forms and questionnaires prior to your visit so you don’t have to spend time completing paperwork in the waiting room.
OSMC is partnering with Phreesia to save you time when arriving at our practice and to ensure that your health records will always be up-to-date. The information you enter is private, secure and will allow our team to better care for you.
OSMC, partnering with Phreesia, will send you an e-mail/text message a few days before your appointment. There is not an app to download. You simply click the link provided in the text message or email. This allows you to securely answer any registration and medical questions necessary for your appointment.
Mobile registration streamlines your arrival at our office by allowing you to check in on your own device using a link sent to you in an email or text message, either prior to your visit or when you arrive. This reduces wait time and limits the need for you to complete paperwork once you arrive for your appointment.
Yes. But once you have completed the initial registration, the next time will be much quicker because Phreesia saves your answers.
Yes. The first check-in on Phreesia will take more a bit more time, as we wish to make sure all your information is gathered. Phreesia securely saves this information, then check-ins following the initial experience will be significantly shorter since patients will only need to review and confirm their information. Edits or additions can be made in Phreesia, too, if needed.
Patients aren’t required to add a credit card to Phreesia, but it’s a nice convenience. Phreesia is PCI-compliant, registered as an approved solution with Visa and Mastercard, and uses top encryption and security technology to protect financial information.
One of the forms a patient is asked to consent to at the first Phreesia check-in is the “credit card on file” form. When signed, we will then have permission to run that card for any balances remaining for the patient. (Convenient!) If a patient doesn’t want to add an HSA or credit card, they simply need to press the Decline button.

When a patient arrives for an appointment, they need to inform the front desk that they’ve arrived.
The front desk may make sure that all information is updated in Phreesia. We ask that patients arrive fifteen minutes before their scheduled appointment to make sure all documents have been completed properly. Once this is done, you’re checked in and ready to see your provider.
